If sitting in an office chair every day has you yearning for a vacation, think about a Florida golf holiday. With its beautiful sunny weather, Florida is the perfect place to take a little break from the daily grind and play a little golf. Between golf and the many other Florida attractions, there's sure to be something for everyone in Florida.
Where To Play Golf In Florida
Some of the most experienced course designers have designed many of the Florida golf courses that you will come across. Many of the golf courses have been favorably reviewed by magazines like Golf Digest, Travel & Leisure and Florida Golf Central. Some of the many courses located in popular Central Florida are the Hamptons Golf Club, the Lily Lake Golf Resort, the Diamondback Golf Club, the Huntington Hills Golf and Country Club and The Club at Eaglebrooke.
There are so many golf courses that motivated players could even try to play a different course every day. If you decide to give this a go, make sure to bring comfortable shoes. You definitely don't want blisters
on the first day of your trip.
Where To Stay In Florida
There's no shortage of lodging options in Central Florida. If you choose to combine a Florida fishing and golf trip, consider staying at a local campground. Today's campgrounds have amenities like internet service and laundry facilities and you can choose to stay in an RV, a tent or one of the cottages available for rent.
If you're looking for something a little less rustic, there are many hotels and bed and breakfasts to stay in. They can vary from a common chain hotel to smaller, family-owned bed and breakfasts. No matter if you're traveling as a couple or an entire family, there's a property that will make this a memorable vacation.
If your travel partner is looking for a little more pampering than you can find on the Florida golf courses, book a hotel with an in-house spa. After a couple days in the perfect home away from home, you won't want to leave.
Other Florida Attractions To Keep You Busy
The Florida golf courses and fishing lakes aren't the only things to keep you busy on your vacation. If you're bringing kids along, there are children's museums, an airplane museum, water parks and miniature golf.
If the thought of a kid's day doesn't excite you, check out one of the many local malls and shopping centers. If you're looking for something a little more sophisticated, enjoy some time at an art museum, a play, musical or jazz concert.
There are so many different types of Florida attractions; you'll find something for everyone on your vacation.
