Taylor Smith, 12, of Arvada, Colo. releases a rainbow trout at the inlet to Ruedi Reservoir, east of Basalt on Saturday. Smith estimated he caught and released like 50 trout that morning, where the upper Fryingpan River enters the reservoir. Fishing was also hot below the reservoir.
